My wife, Cathy, and our children, Kelsey, Dylan and Sierra, moved from Oshkosh, Wisconsin to Oxford in 1998 when I accepted the position of Oxford High School Principal.  All of our children are proud OHS graduates.  Prior to this, I was a high school administrator in Wisconsin for 14 years and taught Physical Education K-12 and Business Education for 5 years in Michigan.  Currently, I am working part time for Oakland County as a Youth Specialist at Children's Village.  I'm impressed with this program and the staff, as it effectively provides innovative and comprehensive services for disadvantaged youth and their families.

I still enjoy competing in basketball, tennis and table tennis.  I was born and raised in Wakefield, located on the western side of Michigan's beautiful upper peninsula,  near the shores of Lake Superior, or as Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote:  "Gitche Gumee."  I have been a Green Bay Packer fan since 1962 and since moving back to Michigan in 1998, have also become a Detroit Lions fan.  I truly can't imagine anything more magical than a Lions' Super Bowl Victory.  So with all of the other Lions faithful, I'll keep waiting!
