Tim Throne has twenty years of consulting experience in diverse academic and corporate settings. He worked in the private sector for Andersen Consulting, Whirlpool Corporation, and Data Management Consultants.

Stationed out of Andersen Consulting’s world headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, Tim traveled throughout the United States working extensively with CEOs and top management implementing executive information systems and decision support systems. At Whirlpool, he helped to implement their first executive information system.

While at Data Management Consultants, Tim sold hardware, software, Internet access and training, along with consulting services, to many manufacturing companies and school districts in the state of Michigan and into Ohio. In 1996, he helped Data Management Consultants attain the ranking of the 54th fastest growing private company in the state of Michigan.

Tim accepted his first position inside a public school with the Riverside Beaver County School District in western Pennsylvania. Tim has worked for Oxford Community Schools since the fall of 2000.  With both districts, he has managed multiple bond issues from design to implementation. Tim earned his state MSBO School Technology Management certification in the spring of 2004, and in January of 2009, completed his Executive MBA from the Ken Blanchard School of Business at Grand Canyon University.
