Welcome to our FABULOUS first grade classroom. I am so very excited to be your child’s first grade teacher this year. This is my first year of teaching at Clear Lake Elementary after teaching for the past 3 years in Houston Texas. I absolutely LOVE to teach reading and I am reading recovery certified! Our first graders are going to make leaps and bounds this year with their reading abilities. I strive to ensure a comfortable, successful, and challenging classroom environment.
I am married and have a son named Dominic, who is 4, and another one on the way! My family and I are happy to be back in Michigan with our friends and family.
I am looking forward to a GREAT year in first grade!
