Welcome to my classroom! I have been teaching fifth grade at Leonard Elementary School since 2000. Having always wanted to teach, I prepared for my career by attending Michigan State University. (Go Green!)
After a couple of years of teaching physical education, preschool, and helping in my mother's classroom, I finally found my home here in Oxford. I love to teach because I never tire of watching children grow and discover the world around them. The look on a child's face as the pieces start to come together is priceless. I am lucky enough to see this happen every day.
When I am not teaching, I spend my time with my husband Rex, dabbling in photography, enjoying the outdoors, cuddling my three cats and scrapbooking.
