Board of Education Members

The Board of Education is an elected body which serves as a trustee for the Oxford Community School District.  The seven school district residents, who are elected to four-year terms, express and represent the views of the community in issues affecting education.  They set policy, approve educational goals and curriculum changes, and provide direction to the Superintendent.  The Board has the fiscal responsibility for approving the annual budget and maintaining a balanced budget.

Community members are encouraged to attend board meetings and participate.  Prearranged Audience Participation and Non-arranged Audience Participation on the agenda provide individuals an opportunity to address the Board.
