My career has been spent providing technical assistance and evaluation supports to schools, districts, and regional education agencies implementing Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). I spent ten years on staff with the Michigan Department of Education's model for MTSS, Michigan's Integrated Behavior and Learning Support Initiative (MIBLSI). Prior to my work with this grant, I served on faculty at Western Michigan University in the Special Education department and spent four years as a school psychologist supporting schools with their special education and data-based problem-solving systems. I believe that using data to set up a system of supports for students is essential.

I live in Lake Orion with my husband and three children. In my spare time I like to run and I enjoy getting up early on the weekend for a 5 or 10K race.  I love watching my kids participate in their own sports, and I enjoy coaching elementary robotics.
