The proper protocol will be followed for each positive case as directed by the Oakland County Health Division. The precise protocol can be found on p. 13 of this Toolkit: https://www.oakgov.com/covid/resources/education/Documents/Education%20Toolkit.pdf. In summary, those staff or students that the are close contacts of the positive case will be directed to quarantine for 14 days. The positive case will be directed to self-isolate for 10 days. Any close contacts of the positive case will be contacted by the health department. Those individuals that the health department determines to have been exposed will be notified by the school and directd to self-monitor for symptoms. No identifying information about the individual with a positive test will be disclosed.
