Welcome! I was so enthusiastic to start my career in Oxford as a graduate of Oxford High School as well as an Oxford Cheerleading Coach. I studied Language Arts and Art Education for my undergraduate degree, traveling Italy to advance my knowledge in Education. I finished my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership, at Oakland University. Then I had the opportunity to teach kindergarten, first, and second grade at Daniel Axford. During that time I learned from our incredibly intelligent staff, beautiful children, and supportive parents every day. I have a great passion for our International Baccalaureate program. My focus is aimed at helping implement this high quality and rigorous program. The most striking part of IB is its continuous push for a better and more peaceful world. The best part of my work day consists of working with staff, parents, students, our community, and my global friends

On a personal note, I married my best friend, Danny who is a Flint Firefighter. We have two beautiful daughters Adele, named after my mother and Molly. Any moment we have together as a family is priceless. Even as a family we are always striving to live the Learner Profile traits, as they are words that continue to inspire us.
