I grew up in Oxford and am a proud 1982 Oxford alumni.  I worked for Oxford Community Schools for 17 years as a teacher, counselor, assistant principal, and principal of two elementary schools.  I am currently an elementary principal at Wattles Elementary School in Troy.

My oldest daughter, Jessica, is a 2012 Oxford graduate.  My youngest daughter, Jennifer, is a 2016 graduate of Oxford High School and was awarded the Oxford Cup.  She currently attends Oakland Community College.  My husband, James, is a registered nurse at Genesys in Grand Blanc.

When I was principal at Leonard Elementary, we received the Michigan Blue Ribbon Award.  When I was principal at Daniel Axford, we received our International Baccalaureate Authorization. As the principal of Wattles Elementary, my school received the prestigious National Blue Ribbon Award in 2014.

I love the world of education and feel fortunate to be in a profession where I get to help other peoples' dreams come true.

It is an honor to serve on the Board of Education.
