Board of Education
The Board of Education, an elected body of seven residents serving four-year terms, acts as a trustee for Oxford Community Schools. Its responsibilities include setting policy, approving educational goals and curriculum changes, directing the Superintendent, and maintaining fiscal accountability through budget approval and oversight.
Community members are encouraged to attend board meetings, typically held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. Opportunities to address the Board are available during both Scheduled and Unscheduled Public Comment sessions.
