Teaching & Learning
At Oxford Community Schools, we are proud to be an International Baccalaureate (IB) World District, offering a globally recognized education that fosters critical thinking, cultural awareness, and lifelong learning. Our high school provides outstanding career-focused education opportunities in addition to our partnership with Oakland Schools Technical Campus. Our early college and dual enrollment programs provide amazing opportunities for our students to earn college credits while still in high school. We also offer a robust virtual school and a variety of unique learning pathways tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students. Whether pursuing academic excellence, career readiness, or specialized interests, every student at Oxford Community Schools has the support and opportunities needed to achieve their goals.
*** Please Note: All Oxford Virtual Academy courses are available to all K-12 Oxford students. ***

Parent University
Parent University is a series of workshops, videos, one-page resources, and collaborative opportunities for parents/caregivers (sometimes students), that help them learn about various educational topics and how to support their children.
The workshops are free and open to parents and caregivers from any of our Oxford schools, regardless of workshop location. For example, a math workshop for elementary parents/caregivers held at Lakeville Elementary is open to all of our elementary families at our other schools.
