Dear Oxford Schools Community,

Please see the Parent University workshops planned for February below. These workshops are planned to help equip our parents and caregivers with knowledge and tools to help their children thrive.

The Parent University February 2024 workshop opportunities are:

THERE ARE NO LAZY STUDENTS- This workshop is designed for parents/caregivers of students in grade DK-12th grade on Monday, February 5, 2024 from 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at Oxford Middle School. This workshop is presented by the Oxford-Addison Youth Assistance/Judith E. Lipson, M.A., LPC.

WHAT IS INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE (IB)?- This workshop is designed for parents/caregivers of students in grades DK-12 on Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at the Lakeville Elementary Media Center. This workshop will be presented by the Oxford Schools IB Coordinators.

Registration is needed for participation in the workshops and will close three days prior to the event. Please visit the Parent University page on our website to register or use the QR codes or links on the attached informational flier.

FEBRUARY PARENT UNIVERSITY WORKSHOPS FLIER 

A minimum of five people need to be registered for the workshop to be held. If a workshop needs to be canceled due to low enrollment, an email will be sent to the registrants.

Additionally, if you have any idea regarding future workshop topics for families and children or preferred platforms to increase parent participation, please share them with us through this workshop suggestion form. We want you to feel empowered and equipped to help your child succeed in school.
