Meet the Finalists

CORMAC LYNN

Cormac

Mr. Cormac Lynn has served as the Superintendent of Schools at the Catholic Diocese of Saginaw since 2018. His previous experience includes several positions at Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Preparatory- Teacher/Class Master (10 years), Academic Dean (5 years), Vice Principal (2 years), Head of School (5 years). 

Mr. Lynn obtained his Bachelor of Arts in History from The Ohio State University, Master of Arts in History Secondary School Teaching from Michigan State University, Teacher Certification (6-12th grades, RX,CC) from Madonna University, and he is expected to earn his Educational Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Michigan- Flint in the Spring of 2024. 

 

DAVID RALEIGH

David

Mr. David Raleigh has served as the Superintendent of LaRue County Schools (Hodgenville, KY) since 2018. Mr. Raleigh’s previous experiences include- Special Education Instructional Assistant (12 years), Teacher (14 years), Assistant Principal (1 year), Principal (2 years), Superintendent of Schools- Owen County Schools (2 years), Education Recovery Leader- Kentucky Department of Education (4 years), Assistant Superintendent of District Services- Franklin County Schools (2 years). 

Mr. Raleigh earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Eastern Kentucky University, Master of Arts in Secondary Education from Eastern Kentucky University, Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Eastern Kentucky University, and Certificate for School Superintendent from Eastern Kentucky University.

DR. TONYA MILLIGAN

Dr. Tonya Milligan has served as the Executive Director of Teaching and Learning at Columbus City Schools (Columbus, Ohio) since 2022. Dr. Milligan’s previous experience includes several leadership positions within the Columbus City Schools District- Assistant Principal (6 years), Principal (7 years), and Teacher Leader (9 years). 

Dr. Milligan obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Life Science from Otterbein College, Master of Arts in Curriculum Development and Instruction from Otterbein College, and a Doctorate in Education from Ohio University. In addition, Dr. Milligan holds multiple certificates- Secondary Certificate (Standard/Biological Science, General Science), Administrative Certificate (Administrative K-12/General Administrative), and an Administrative Certificate (Administrative K-12/Superintendent).
