Dear Parents/Guardians of Oxford seated students,

We want to invite you to an informational meeting on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at 6:30 pm at the Oxford Middle School Media Center regarding the potential addition of an Honor Community Health (HCH) Clinic inside of Oxford High School.

The district began discussions with HCH Clinic in October of 2021 to assess the needs of our student population for services that they can provide. A grant was awarded to HCH to fund this initiative;however, efforts were put on hold due to the tragedy. As part of the recovery plan, discussions of the health clinic resumed as a way to provide an additional layer of support for students.

The purpose of the meeting will be to present a summary of the presentations that have been made to the Oxford School Board regarding the details of the proposed HCH Clinic. Representatives from HCH Clinic will be available to answer any questions during the meeting as well. Subsequently, the school board will vote in a future school board meeting on whether to move forward with the Honor Community Health Clinic.
