Dear Oxford Schools Families,
We want to make you aware that this evening, June 5, 2023, there was an emergency incident that occurred in a neighborhood adjacent to Oxford Middle School and Lakeville Elementary. Law enforcement and first responders used our school parking lots for assistance in staging their response to diffuse the situation. We have been informed by the Oakland County Sheriff's Office the situation is now under control and has concluded.
For those in our school community, seeing many emergency vehicles and/or witnessing the situation may have been activating. Please know, we will have counseling support available in our school buildings for any affected students and staff in need tomorrow.
