Dear Oxford Schools Community,
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office has informed the district there have been multiple complaints about vehicles turning left into the Willow Lake subdivision when there is a clearly posted “No Left Turn” sign. There have also been reports of reckless driving within the subdivision itself.
OCSO wants to advise everyone that they will be strictly enforcing the no left turn restriction before and after school hours. Vehicles attempting to turn left into the Willow Lake subdivision will be subject to being pulled over and ticketed. In addition, officers will be monitoring for any reckless driving, speeding or other traffic violations within the Willow Lake subdivision around arrival and dismissal times.
We ask that all parents, students, and staff please be mindful of all posted traffic signs and drive slowly and cautiously through residential areas near our schools. As always, safety is our top priority for our students and staff.
